  • Air out the inserts on a sunny day but avoid direct sunlight.
  • Alternative down pillows last 1-2 years. Alternative down duvets last 2-4 years.
  • Goose down pillows last 2-3 years. Goose down duvets last 3-5 years.

CLEANING

  • With proper use of a covers for pillows and duvets, your duvet will need to be washed rarely if ever, however if you feel it’s in need of a wash, we recommend seeking out a professional launderer who specializes in down products to do the job
  • Spot clean is the first recommended option. If you decide to machine wash, use cold on gentle cycle with a mild detergent.
  • Dry a pillow/duvet using the gentle heat setting on the dryer. When it’s partially dry, take it out, give it a good shake to break up damp clusters of filling, and finish the drying.
  • Hang a duvet out to air dry for at least 24 hours to make certain all sections are dry before replacing on the bed.
  • Do not iron, steam, or dry clean inserts. Chemicals in dry cleaning can break down the fibres of the fill.

Throws & Pillows

CARE

  • To keep the beauty of throws and pillows, keep indoors and avoid direct exposure to the sun.
  • Do not place sharp objects on or near the throw and pillows, as this could damage the fabric and novelty designs.

CLEANING

  • Clean any spills immediately with a clean dry cloth. Then spot clean as needed with a mild, water-free solvent.
  • Avoid harsh cleaning products as these could fade or damage the fabric.
  • For hard-to-remove spills, professional cleaning is recommended.
  • Some throws and pillows may require hand washing. Please refer to the care details on the product page for specific instructions.
